True estate cuvée: The estate Furmint is a blend with the backbone from a mineral wine from Szent Tamás Vineyard (except parcel 46) rich in zeolite and rhyolite, tuff and red clay; a wine from Betsek Vineyard with yellow clay and very soft white weathered tuff; a wine from andesite-soil Hasznos in Tállya and spiced with the flavours of old Furmint vines in Bohomáj, Tállya and the loess of Nyulas (Liliom).

Rich, incredibly mineral and complex.

Vintage: After the coldest winter in recent years bud break was relatively early and on 30 May 2017 the vines burst into flower. Thanks to the combination of plenty of sunshine, cold nights and cool dawns, and appropriate precipitation at the right time, in all respects this vintage has given us classic outstanding wines, concentrated, elegant and lively with beautiful aromas and marked acidity.

Winemaking: The selection of grapes happened between 25 September and 7 October. The grapes from the different vineyards were processed separately, and the wines fermented in stainless steel and barrels. Then it was aged for seven months in a new 300-l oak barrel. After several rounds of tastings, the family created the final blend.
